WHY EMOTIONAL RELEASE?
Access the deeper layers of the body to process and release stored stress, emotions and trauma safely.
Stress, emotions and trauma aren’t just in the mind, they leave an imprint on the nervous system.
When the body can’t complete its natural stress cycle, that charge can remain stored in muscle tension, breathing patterns and subconscious habits that influence daily life. Over time, this can manifest as anxiety, low energy and even physical pain or illness.
Activation breathwork is a direct pathway into the deeper, subconscious layers of the brain and body.
Through specific techniques, you can access the parts of the brain where emotions and memories are held. This creates space to finally process, feel and release what it’s been carrying to let go and reconnect with yourself in a new way.

My first ever breathwork experience was at a retreat. It was the first domino that set me on the path to becoming who I wanted to be and creating the life I wanted to live.
These immersive experiences are special. When a group of people actively choose to invest in themselves, remarkable things happen.
Retreats are where you take this work even deeper, in community, over multiple days. Facilitation extends beyond breathwork, bringing in coaching and broader development to give you the agency to become the driver of your own life.
I don’t have dates to share yet but if you’d like to be the first to hear when retreats are announced, enquire now to join the waitlist.
A note from Liz:
Activation breathwork is a profound method to release what’s been holding you back. It was my personal introduction to breathwork and the best thing I ever did for myself. It opened a doorway to becoming the person I am today.
If there’s a voice that’s telling you to try it, I really encourage you to trust it and give yourself a chance to remember what peace can feel like. It’s worth it, it really is.
FAQs
Do I have to experience an emotional release for this to ‘work’?
Definitely not, I would actually encourage you to remove having an expectation of a specific outcome altogether. Every session is different and release can show up in many ways - sometimes it’s emotional (crying, laughing, screaming), sometimes it’s physical (tingling, shaking, movement), and sometimes it’s a quiet sense of mental peace. There is no ‘right’ outcome and you cannot do this wrong. The goal isn’t to force release but give your body the space to process whatever it’s ready to.
Who should not do activation breathwork?
This style of breathwork is powerful and not suitable for everyone. If you are pregnant, have a history of seizures, serious cardiovascular issues, severe mental health conditions (eg: psychosis), are recovering from recent surgery or any other significant medical concerns, activation breathwork may not be appropriate at this time. If you’re unsure, please speak with your doctor and share your situation with me before booking a session.
Will it be overwhelming?
The practice can feel intense, especially if it’s your first time, but you’ll always be guided and supported. The great thing about the breath is that you’re always in the driver’s seat and can adjust the intensity as you need. All sessions begin with education so you know what to expect and we’ll move at a pace that respects your body and boundaries.
What if nothing happens?
Sometimes the most profound shifts are subtle. Even if you don’t experience a dramatic release, you’ll leave with practical tools and more awareness of your nervous system that will influence your daily life. Many people also notice changes / have reflections in the days and weeks after their session.
Is this therapy?
No, breathwork is not a replacement for therapy or medical treatment and Liz is not a certified therapist. It’s a complementary practice that works directly with the body and nervous system, often alongside other forms of support.
What if I feel nervous about letting go in front of someone?
That’s completely normal and understandable, many people feel this way before their first session. My role as a facilitator is to create a safe, supportive space where you can relax into the process without judgment. You’re always in control - you decide how much you want to lean in and all expressions (or none at all) are welcome. I’ve been in your shoes and I remember what it feels like :)
